Hi, I’m Gomez and I shall mostly be talking about food, travel and anything else that takes my fancy. My wife, aka Mrs A, and my self are self confessed “foodies” on a mission to try and discover as many new eateries as we can.
Living in Wales, just on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, we have some of the finest produce on the planet. Where ever we go we look for places that serve quality local seasonal produce.
In 2012 I was a Judge for the Wales the True Taste Awards, the premier food awards in Wales organised with the backing of the Welsh Government.
In 2014 I was lucky enough to be invite to judge for the Great Taste Awards. Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged benchmark for speciality food and drink. It has been described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’.

My love for cooking blossomed when I lived in France. Widely travelled my influences include European, Middle Eastern and Caribbean influences. Now living in Wales, I cook with the best that this country offers. Knitting and yarn fanatic too!
